Christmas at Kiroli plans announced for 2023 holiday season

The City of West Monroe and Kiroli Foundation have announced Christmas at Kiroli activities this holiday season.

The public is invited to a Kiroli Park and Christmas at Kiroli Holiday Kick-Off Celebration on Monday, Nov. 20. Activities begin at 3 p.m., and there will be free admission to Kiroli Park on this one day, beginning at 3 p.m.

Attendees will be invited to tour the newly-renovated Kiroli Park Lodge with a ribbon cutting at the lodge at 3:30 p.m. There will be light refreshments and musical entertainment from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The official turning on of the Christmas lights at Kiroli Park will take place at 5:30 p.m. on November 20 at the Kiroli Park Bandstand, immediately followed by a free concert featuring the ULM Brass Band.

The drive-thru Christmas lights display at Kiroli Park will open to the public on Friday, Nov. 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The lights display will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Beginning on Thursday, Dec. 14, Christmas at Kiroli will be open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until December 25.

The cost to drive through the park is $10 per vehicle or $20 for a commercial vehicle. Season passes can be purchased for $30. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.christmasatkiroli.com

Christmas at Kiroli will also host “Santa in the Park” on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Kiroli Park, sponsored by Louisiana Pain Care. The event will feature visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, live entertainment, arts and crafts activities, fun events for children and food trucks. Regular park admission will apply. In the event of inclement weather, Santa in the Park will move to Sunday, Dec. 17.
